PROFESSIONAL VIDEO CREWS

Our teams are equipped with the latest equipment and industry knowledge to accomplish any level of video production. See our additional information below to help you understand how we budget for our projects.

CREW ROLES + RATES

Below are descriptions of the various crew members we often employ on our projects and the hourly rates we calculate into the project budgets. Each person is highly skilled and technically proficient and is paid industry standard rates. Our core team of filmmakers work on every job, but we adjust our crew size depending on the scope of the projects we take on. That means, we hire trusted pros to accomodate larger jobs. We share these rates to help our customers understand how project budgets are built from personnel expenses, in addition to equipment expenses, location fees, and our agency expertise to get it all done right!

WHAT IMPACTS THE BUDGET?

  • Locations: Prices may differ based on the region or city where the services are offered. Our company is located in San Diego, CA. Travel budgets are added for any projects outside of San Diego County.
  • The complexity of the Project: More complex projects that require specialized equipment, multiple locations, or extensive post-production editing may cost more. We often determine the complexity of the shoots based on how long we are filming and if any motion graphics, custom animations, or visual effects are required. We consider other things, like if professional actors or models are needed and filming locations like studios, homes, or commercial spaces need to be rented for filming. We also base complexity on whether a professional writer or voiceover artist should be involved. All these items will be included in the budget as we asses your project.
  • Duration of the Shoot: Our minimum filming session is only 2 hours, which can be a simple solution for many customers. However, longer shoots will typically cost more due to the additional time and resources required to plan and strategize the project. It will also increase the time it takes in post-production to sequence, review, and edit large amounts of footage.
  • Equipment Used: High-quality cameras and lighting are included in every project. However, specific cameras, lenses, drones, or other specialized equipment can increase costs. We don’t generally charge for equipment, as our team owns our gear. We increase the budget accordingly only if special equipment is needed or requested.
  • Experience of the Videographers and Crew: We only provide experienced videographers, Directors, video editors, and other crew with a wide range of expertise and creativity. When you book with us, you are getting the best.
